Albania as a land of waters. Between its Adriatic and Ionian shores, it houses many lakes and rivers. The three largest lakes include, Lake Skutari to the North and Lakes Ohrid and Prespa to the East. Albania’s most notable rivers are the Drini, Mati, Shkumbini and the Vjosa. Tourism is not well developed on these isolated shores. People have their own connection to the water and they try to earn their living somehow from the lake, the river or the sea.
